It’s your responsibility to confirm that the checkout price reflects what you have selected and agreed. Once you have bought your ticket there will be no adjustments on the price. In case that you want to upgrade your Exhibition Pass to All Access Pass, we’ll send you a code so you can pay the difference plus the administration fees.
As part of our campaigns we may offer promotional codes for a limited time. These will be tied to a specific pass, group passes or activities within IoT Innovatech Latam 2019. These codes cannot be applied to a different pass or activity nor applied to previously purchased passes and/or activities. Discounts cannot be combined.
Some of our Sponsors, Exhibitors, Collaborators, Media Partners and other organizations confirmed by us may provide complimentary tickets as part of our agreements. In case that you have already purchased your ticket and receive another from the third parties mentioned before, we will not proceed with the reimbursement of the pass or with any kind of compensation. However you will be able to transfer the purchased ticket to other person who has not yet registered at the event. Once a badge has been issued, the pass cannot be transferred.
To cancel your registration, you need to send us an email to [email protected] notifying about it. The cancellation must be acknowledged by the organization.
There will be no refunds if your application for Speaker is denied by the Program Committee.
There will be no refunds if your visa application is denied.
For cancellations in a group-registration, the discounted rate will be cancelled first resulting in a difference to be paid by the remaining participants.
If applicable, each refund will be processed after May 13th 2019 to the original payment method.
You may transfer your ticket to another person through your log in. There will be no additional charges for this process; however for verification, we will request additional information to allow the transfer. Once a badge has been issued, the pass cannot be transferred.
All of our participants must be at least 18 years old to attend IoT Innovatech Latam 2019 and its related activities.
We may at our sole discretion cancel a registration, refuse admit to and/ or expel from the event, any person in its absolute discretion, including (without limitation) any person who fails to comply with these terms and conditions or who in the opinion of the organization represents a security risk, nuisance or annoyance to the running of the event. You agree to comply with all reasonable instructions issued by the organization or the venue owners at the event. There will be no refund or compensation if this occurs.
We may (at our sole discretion) change the program, speakers, format, venue or any other aspect at any time or reason, without liability. We can’t promise the attendance of any speaker, entertainer, or presenter and won’t refund your registration or provide any other compensation based on changes to the agenda. We also can’t guarantee admission to any certain session, since all sessions are subject to capacity limits and availability.
We may (at our sole discretion) change the date or cancel the event at any time or reason. If this happens we will offer you the option to attend to the re-arrange event (if applies) or proceed with the refund of the total amount. In case of Force Majeure the organization will do its best efforts to hold the event at the planned venue and date; however the organization is not obliged to (in its sole discretion) provide an alternative venue and/ or re-schedule the event. In this scenario we won’t proceed with reimbursements nor provide any other compensation.
You agree that the organization is not responsible for any damages, direct or indirect, resulting from any cancellations, venue and/or date changes.
We encourage our participants to meet and connect with other delegates, sponsors and exhibitors; however “suitcasing” and/or “outboarding” is strictly prohibited. You agree you will not engage or support suitcasing or outboarding in any way.
Other than for personal use, our participants are not allowed to copy, reproduce, publish, or distribute audiovisual content without our written permission.
Only participants with press credentials are allowed to bring professional equipment for the purpose of recording or broadcasting. If you don’t have this credential you can use a camera phone to share your recordings in social media (posting on Facebook, Instagram or LinkedIn and/or tweeting). These recordings cannot exceed more than one minute in length and you must be in compliance with these terms.
You agree that you won’t use any recordings (1) in a way that is misleading or disparaging, (2) in a way that implies that the content of the recordings is your own, (3) for commercial purposes or in a way that implies that we endorse, sponsor or approve of your business, services or products, or (4) in violation of applicable law or in connection with an obscene, indecent, or unlawful topic or material. If we request that you discontinue use of any recordings, you will immediately comply with our request. And of course, if we do notify you that recordings aren’t allowed, then you agree that you won’t take any recordings.
By attending IoT Innovatech Latam 2019 and its related activities, you consent to having your image, voice, likeness, presentation and/or other copyrightable material recorded, including video, audio, and still photography. We reserve the right to use recordings taken and related events however we might choose to, without giving you notice or any compensation. We might use them for our marketing materials or other related publications.
We reserve the right to amend these terms and conditions from time to time without notifying. However, you will be subject to the terms and conditions in force at the time you submit your registration. We encourage you to review them periodically.
You agree to wear your badge at all time when you are at IoT Innovatech Latam 2019. You cannot share, give or sell your badge to anyone else. We will expel both the person using a badge provided to another participant and the original owner without any refund or compensation.
To retrieve your badge, you must be fully registered with all the registration fees paid in full and show a government-issued form of photo ID, like a passport, national ID or driver’s license. The name on your photo identification must match the name on your registration. Each participant must personally pick up their badge.
If your badge is lost or destroyed, the fee for its replacement is US$100.
Smoking, including the use of smokeless tobacco products, e-cigarettes and unregulated nicotine products is strictly prohibited except in designated areas.
The organization is not responsible for lost or stolen items. Please remain aware and keep personal possessions, including but not limited to passports, electronics, and financial instruments secure at all times. For the safety and security of all attendees, the organization reserves the right to enable security personnel to perform security checks of any attendee at any time. We reserve the right to refuse admittance or remove any attendee from the event venue, entry points, or offsite location controlled by the organization at any time, without liability.

What we collect?
We may collect certain personal information when you register for an event, subscribing to our services, making an enquiry or reporting a problem; completing a survey or downloading resources from our sites and/or submitting your papers. From third party sources such as Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, business directories and other appropriate organizations. We may also ask you to provide us with additional information about you such as your professional interests and company background.
We do not store credit card details nor do we share customer details with any third parties unless we have specifically obtained your permission to do so beforehand.
What We Do With Your Personal Information
We will use your Personal Information to provide and improve our product and services, to provide you with support and assistance in using these, to solicit feedback in connection with your experience in our products and services, to contact you in connection with the products and services and certain programs or offerings that you may have registered for and/or we feel may interest you, and to identify and authenticate your access to the parts of the products and services that you are authorized to access.
We may use your designated email address to: (a) send you updates or news regarding our products and services; (b) respond to a “Contact Us” or administrative request (c) send you suggested events, based on events your third party account connections and friendships are attending; and/or (d) send you ads and related content and information for marketing or promotional purposes from us and from other reputable organizations with your previous consent.
We may use Anonymous Information or disclose it to third party service providers in order to improve our products and services and enhance your experience with these. We may also disclose Anonymous Information (with or without compensation) to third parties, including advertisers and partners. “Anonymous Information” means information which does not enable identification of an individual user, such as aggregated information about the use of our Products and Services.
We may share your personal information with third parties in the event of a sale, merger, acquisition, partnership, joint venture, or negotiations related to the same with respect to all or part of our business.
We will only retain your personal information for as long as is necessary and as permitted by applicable laws and may continue to retain it after these uses have ended where we have a legitimate business purpose. For example, if you have opted out of marketing communications from us, we will retain limited details about you to ensure the opt-out request is honored. We may also continue to retain your personal information to meet our legal requirements or to defend or exercise our legal rights.
The length of time for which we will retain personal information will depend on the purposes for which it is retained it. After we no longer need to retain your personal information, it will be deleted or securely destroyed.

En esta versión se llamarán a participar 30 empresas, de las cuales se elegirán 12 StartUps para ser parte de The StartUp Connection -TSC-.
Todo participante de The StartUp Connection acepta los términos, condiciones y privacidad general de IoT Innovatech Latam.
Al enviar la propuesta, cada participante – empresa y asociados- acepta que la información entregada a través del formulario y posteriores entrevistas serán revisadas por la organización, miembros del comité y nuestros sponsors/ colaboradores de The StartUp Connection. La organización se reserva el derecho de garantizar confidencialidad – implícita y explícita- en relación con la información entregada.
Cada participante debe asesorarse con su respectivo equipo legal que toda propiedad intelectual está legalmente adquirida o licenciada. Los participantes deberán entregar prueba de esto en caso de ser solicitado por la organización.
Al participar de IoT Innovatech Latam y de The StartUp Connection, cada participante entrega su consentimiento a la organización sobre el uso de todo el material fotográfico y audiovisual que ésta produzca a partir de la información entregada y/o productos presentados en el evento. Este material será utilizado para actividades de marketing y promoción, investigaciones y otras actividades sin fines de lucro.
Todos los participantes acuerdan que la información entregada es real y fidedigna; y que serán descalificados para la versión actual y posteriores de The StartUp Connection e IoT Innovatech Latam.
Todos los participantes acuerdan seguir los reglamentos de The StartUp Connection e IoT Innovatech Latam; como también la decisión final de la organización respecto a la participación de The StartUp Connection.
Los participantes acuerdan no cancelar su participación una vez aceptados por el comité. En caso de fuerzas mayores, éstos deben enviar una carta de cancelación escrita a la organización. Aquellos que no informen su cancelación, serán descalificados permanentemente de The StartUp Connection y de toda actividad relacionada con IoT Innovatech Latam.
La organización junto a los miembros del comité, serán eximidos de toda responsabilidad por parte de los participantes en caso de que éstos infrinjan derechos de propiedad intelectual u otras leyes similares.
La participación de TSC es liberada, sin embargo, existen costos relacionados con energía adicional, internet, mobiliario y equipamiento audiovisual que son responsabilidad de los participantes.
Si bien la organización realiza los esfuerzos por contar con la presencia de inversionistas, capitales de riesgos, aceleradoras y otros actores similares; no promete la participación de éstos y tampoco la generación de potenciales oportunidades comerciales.
